Cure for the Winter Blues

That navy blue is so hot right now!   If I am reading all of the crafting blogs right, navy blue is on trend this year.  Cath over at Moxie Fab World challenged readers to create a navy blue paper craft that would be a Cure for the Winter Blues.   Here is what I came up with:
I combined several navy prints on a kraft card and added a tag and some contrasting yellow butterflies.  The butterflies have a lower navy layer which makes a shadow effect.  I stamped the notebook paper, trimmed it really small, added a thank you rub on and attached it with a mini paper clip.  I added a little jute twine and I was done!

The gals over at Kraft Outlet's Kraft Journal also have a Fun Shapes Challenge this week that this card would be perfect for!

Dreaming of more sunshine,

-Amanda

Supplies:
Navy/yellow papers (Lifestyle crafts)
Paper Clip (Tim Holtz)
Butterfly punch (Martha Stewart)
Twine (May Arts)
Notebook stamp (Market Street Stamps)
Rubon (Pebbles)
